Mark Lungley is a Disaster Risk Management Specialist and Community Resilience Builder currently serving as the National Lead for Emergency Communications at AREC. With a Bachelor's Degree in Literature with Creative Writing from the University of Surrey, Mark has developed exceptional communication skills through various roles, including teaching English as a second language and serving as an Assistant Bid Writer. Mark’s experience also encompasses emergency preparedness and stakeholder engagement as a Risk and Resilience Coordinator with the Hastings District Council. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Development & Emergency Management at Auckland University of Technology, Mark continues to build expertise in crisis and disaster management.
