Jean Tan

Jean Tan has over 25 years of extensive experience in the hospitality and consulting industries. Currently serving as a Consultant at AREKA CONSULTING since November 2020, Jean previously held significant roles at HRS Group, including Team Lead-Sourcing for North America and Senior Sourcing Consultant, from June 2017 to September 2020. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Hotel Program Consultant at Cvent and Program Manager at DirectConnections. Jean’s career began at Westin Hotels & Resorts, where roles included Manager of Sales Automation and Marketing Systems Manager, and continued through various positions at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, the San Jose Convention & Visitors Bureau, and other organizations. Jean holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Travel Industry Management from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
