Greg Long, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and investor relations. Currently serving as a Principal at Ares Management Corporation since May 2024, Long previously held the position of Director of Investor Relations at Ballast Investments from October 2021 to May 2024. Prior roles include Director, Product Specialist in Private Assets and Associate Director of Portfolio Management at Barings from October 2014 to October 2021, as well as various positions at Bank of America, culminating in the role of VP and Pension Plan Portfolio Manager from July 2007 to October 2014. Long holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, completed in 2007, and has a foundational education from The Bolles School.
