Ian Smith

Ian Smith is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in structured credit trading. Currently serving as a Senior CLO/Structured Credit Trader at Ares Management since November 2002, Ian Smith specializes in structuring new issue deals and trading CLOs in the secondary market, while also managing a correlation and hedging program for the firm. Prior to Ares Management, Ian Smith held positions in sales at DH1 and conducted research at Imagine Venture Capital. Ian Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance from the University of Southern California, graduating in 2002.
