Rees McNally is a Principal Scientist at Areté, specializing in CUAS, SDA, and AI/ML. They hold a BS in Applied Mathematics and a BS in Engineering Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder, as well as an MS and PhD in Physics from Columbia University. Previously, Rees served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Columbia University and as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they developed a tabletop experiment to study ultracold molecules. Additionally, their experience includes roles at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and JILA, where they contributed to advanced physics research and technology development.
