Robert Sato

Robert Sato is a Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in computer vision and natural language processing, currently working at Areté as a Data Scientist. Previously, they gained valuable experience at Cloud Brigade, where they deployed machine learning products within AWS, and at SpaceLab, where they developed an exoplanet classifier with a 91% F1 score. Robert holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they also completed their undergraduate studies. Additionally, they have experience as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student Researcher, focusing on applied machine learning and AI.
