Chris Matthews

Chris Matthews is the current Director of Development at Arevon. Prior to this, they served as a Project Development Manager at The AES Corporation from February 2019 to April 2021. Before that, Chris was a Project Manager at Greensmith Energy from December 2017 to February 2019, and before that they were a Project Manager at EDP Renewables North America from August 2015 to December 2017. In all of these positions, Chris has demonstrated their ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, make recommendations for project acquisitions, obtain permits, manage relationships with stakeholders, and provide reports to management. Chris has a proven track record of successful project management and is an asset to any organization.

Chris Matthews has a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Geophysics from Virginia Tech. Chris also attended a geology field camp at Florida State University.

Chris Matthews reports to Aron Branam, VP of Development & Construction. They work with Greg Patzer - Director of Construction, Josh Coon - Senior Manager of Development & Construction.
