Mario Guedes

Mario Guedes is currently the Vice President for Mining and Natural Resources at ARGAS, a leading seismic data surveying company in the Middle East and North Africa. Previously, Mario held positions such as Chief Financial Officer for a film production company, Director General for Energy and Geology, and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors at Empresa de Desenvolvimento Mineiro, SA. Mario has also worked as a Project Manager at PP-Minerals and as a Civil and Environmental Risk Analyst. They are pursuing a PhD at Universidade de Aveiro and a Master's degree at Universidade do Minho, alongside a degree from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, expected in 2025.
