Michael Chong

Michael Chong has worked in the technology industry since 1996. Michael'scareer began as a Telecommunication System Engineer at Tellabs. In 1998, they moved to Dongbu Corporation as an IT System Engineer. Two years later, they were an Account Manager at Lernout and Hauspie Speech Products. In 2002, they became a Product Marketing Manager at Samsung Electronics. In 2005, they joined SK Telecom as the Head of Cloud Platform Biz Development & Partnership. In this role, they were responsible for planning cloud gaming services, managing partnerships, developing global strategies, and managing key partnerships. In 2011, they became the Director of New Media Biz Development & Partnership. In 2014, they became the CEO of Seerslab Inc., where they were responsible for bringing innovations in creating, editing, and sharing mobile videos. In 2016, they joined Y Combinator as YCS16.

Michael Chong received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Texas McCombs School of Business in 2002, where they studied High-tech Marketing. In 2016, they attended Y Combinator's S16 program.
