David Daems

David Daems is an experienced professional in the field of cyber defense and security, currently serving in a cyber defense role at Argenta since April 2021. As the owner of HD Consult since July 2016, David has also held several significant positions in leading organizations, including Lead Cyber Defense Services at Cegeka, Head of CISO Solutions and Services at NMBS-SNCB, and Head of Cyber Security Center of Excellence at RHEA Group. Prior to these roles, David made substantial contributions at RelianceACSN, Verizon Enterprise Solutions, Cybertrust, Ubizen, and EUnet Belgium, where responsibilities ranged from business development and applied cyber intelligence to senior consultancy and security analysis. David holds a Bachelor of Telecommunications degree with a focus on intrusion detection and event analysis from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven.
