Bill Richards has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in market access. Bill started their career in 2005 at Biogen Idec, where they worked as a Regional Sales Director, Director of Managed Accounts, and later as Senior Director of Market Access, leading a team responsible for driving revenue and optimizing formulary position for various products. In 2015, they joined Alexion Pharmaceuticals as Executive Director of US Market Access and Diagnostics, where they developed payer access strategies for ultra-rare products and led a team of Account Directors. With a strong focus on market access, Bill joined argenx in 2019 as Head of US Market Access.
Bill Richards completed their undergraduate education at Jacksonville State University from 1984 to 1987, majoring in Management.
