Sofia Paiva

Sofia Paiva currently serves as the Manager of Patient Advocacy and Policy at argenx, beginning in October 2023. Prior to this position, Sofia held multiple roles at FIPRA Public Affairs from September 2021 to October 2023, including Senior Account Executive, Account Executive, and Public Affairs Consultant, specializing in the pharmaceutical sector. Between July 2020 and September 2021, Sofia worked as a Public Affairs Consultant at Lasker, also beginning as a Junior Public Affairs Consultant. Earlier experience includes an internship at the Portuguese Parliament in late 2018, focusing on European affairs and international relations. Educational credentials consist of a Master of Arts in EU Politics and Governance from the College of Europe (2019-2020), as well as a Licentiate degree in International Relations from Universidade de Coimbra (2014-2017). Additional studies include a summer program at Peking University in Chinese Economy and Foreign Policy (2017).
