Tom Baker

Tom Baker is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operations and logistics across various industries. Currently serving as Executive Vice President of Operations at The Shade Store, Tom has a proven track record of driving hyper-growth for multiple fulfillment start-ups, including GoPuff and Fabric, and has successfully managed P&L responsibilities in the operational consulting sector. Previous roles include Vice President of Operations Solutions at ADVATIX and Director of Government and Hurricane Relief Operations at GP Strategies Corporation, where Tom led disaster recovery efforts for hurricane-impacted regions. Tom's foundational experience in logistics and operations was honed during a distinguished 20-year career in the United States Navy, coupled with a Master's degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Ithaca College.
