Lee Koch, CIC, currently serves as AVP at Argo Group, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Lee was with Markel from November 2017 to May 2024, progressing from Manager to Senior Inland Marine Underwriter. Lee's experience also includes a tenure at Starr Companies as a Property Underwriter from May 2016 to November 2017, and a role as a Middle Markets Underwriter at Zurich North America between July 2015 and April 2016. Lee began at Markel Corporation in April 2011 as an Underwriting Technician in the Brokerage Property Department, where valuable mentorship from seasoned Underwriters fostered deep industry knowledge. Lee holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Texas State University, earned between 2005 and 2009.
