Tom Quinn

Tom Quinn has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and management. Tom is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Argo Group, a position they have held since May 2023. Before joining Argo Group, Tom worked as the Interim Chief Information Officer at the same company from January 2023 to May 2023.

Prior to their role at Argo Group, Tom had a long tenure at Allied World, starting in September 2005. During their time at Allied World, they held various roles, including Global Chief Information Officer / Chief Information Security Officer from October 2016 to December 2022, Senior Vice President of Enterprise Data Manager from September 2011 to October 2016, Vice President of Data Reporting and Web Technologies from August 2008 to September 2011, Assistant Vice President of Data Reporting and Web Technologies from August 2007 to August 2008, and Data Reporting Manager from September 2005 to August 2007.

Tom also worked at World Travel as a World Traveler from April 2005 to September 2005, at ACE Insurance Limited as a Senior Web Developer from December 2003 to April 2005, at CCS Group Ltd. as the Director of Professional Services from April 2000 to December 2003, at Diageo as an Information Systems Manager from January 1998 to April 2000, at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as a Practice Group Leader from October 1996 to January 1998, and at Lotus Development as a Senior Education Specialist from June 1995 to October 1996.

Tom Quinn attended Heriot-Watt University from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a BA Double Honours degree in German & Russian Translating and Interpreting. In 1990, they also studied at Universität Innsbruck in Germany for a brief period. During the academic year of 1989-1990, Tom attended the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute in an unspecified capacity. Later, they pursued an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Export Marketing at Edinburgh Napier University, although the exact dates of their enrollment are unknown.
