Argonauts is an independent production company founded in 2003 by Panos Papahadzis and based in Athens, with a strong focus on internationally oriented cinema and storytelling.

Over the past two decades, the company has developed and produced a diverse slate of original feature films and television projects. In parallel, production services have become a core pillar of its activity, supporting international projects filming in Greece with experienced crews, diverse locations, and access to the country’s 40% cash rebate on eligible production expenses.

Building on this dual focus, Argonauts has established itself as a consistent partner in international co-productions, bringing together creative talent, financing structures, and production expertise across more than 15 countries, while maintaining long-term collaborations with filmmakers across Europe and beyond.

Its projects have premiered at major international film festivals including Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Rotterdam, and Toronto, and include collaborations on internationally recognized productions such as Crimes of the Future by David Cronenberg, as well as high-end television series like House of David for Amazon.

With a track record spanning more than two decades, Argonauts continues to focus on distinctive storytelling and long-term creative collaborations, maintaining a strong presence within the European and international production landscape.
