Argot Collective is a non-profit, independent research and development group sustaining Ethereum’s core programming languages and tooling, most notably Solidity. By uniting expertise in compilers, formal verification, and language design under one roof, we make smart contract and Ethereum application development simpler, safer, and more resilient.

Argot works on essential public goods such as Solidity, Fe, Sourcify, Ethdebug, Act, and Hevm. The collective is dedicated to ensure this infrastructure evolves with integrity, transparency, and technical excellence.

We provide a stable, long-term home for these projects, ensuring they remain open-source, accessible, and free from commercial capture.
