Daniel Carr

Daniel Carr is an accomplished executive in Cyber Security and (re)insurance, currently leading the cyber (re)insurance division at Ariel Re, where they develop and execute underwriting, pricing, modeling, and partnership strategies. Previously, Daniel served as the Chief Innovation Officer & Cyber Lead at Occam Underwriting Limited, where they built a successful cyber insurance proposition and managed various aspects of the business, including product development and risk pricing. Daniel's extensive experience includes roles at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, the UK Ministry of Defence, and AEGIS London, and they hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Cardiff University and a Master's Degree in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London. Daniel has also been an active speaker at industry events and has contributed to discussions in the media regarding cyber risk Challenges.
