ARISE (AI Research and Science Evaluation) is a Stanford-Harvard backed interdisciplinary research network on a mission to safely advance patient care through rigorous scientific evaluation of AI technologies.

Founded in 2024, we bring together clinicians and researchers across academic medical centers. Since then, our network has grown to run multiple studies evaluating how AI systems perform across different healthcare contexts. We release our benchmarks and methods openly, so others can build on our findings.

Our goal is to build the scientific evidence that the healthcare community needs to adopt AI safely and responsibly.
