Robert Schramer has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Robert began their career at IBM in 1998, where they held various positions including Finance Manager and Senior Manager, focusing on pricing strategies and financial planning. Robert then joined Cisco in 2005, where they served as Director of Finance, leading a team across multiple countries and implementing new processes for reporting and analytics. In 2011, they joined Sensus as Vice President of Finance, overseeing a large team and implementing business intelligence initiatives. Schramer later joined Aristocrat, initially as VP of Finance and then as SVP of Strategic Initiatives, where they led new market development, process improvements, and commercial pricing. Robert also played a key role in evaluating acquisition targets for the company. Schramer's most recent role was as CFO of VGT, a subsidiary of Aristocrat, where they managed financial operations and spearheaded initiatives to improve speed of execution and expand gaming offerings.
Robert Schramer earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Personnel Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Robert also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance & Accounting from the same university. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including "Supporting Your Mental Health While Working from Home" from LinkedIn in 2021, "Leading Operational Excellence" from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2020, and certifications in Certified Management Accountant and Certified Public Accountant (Inactive) from the Institute of Management Accountants and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, respectively.
