Chris Scheele

Chris Scheele has a diverse work experience history. Chris started their career as a Research Intern in the NASA Student Airborne Research Program in 2013. Chris then worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2015 to 2016. Following that, they joined the State Cartographer's Office as a GIS Developer, where they developed geospatial processing tools, designed mobile web applications, and won the ESRI SAG Award in 2016. In 2015, they returned to the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Lecturer and Teaching Assistant. In 2008, they joined the Hock Group as a Manager, and they stayed with the company until 2017. Currently, they work at Arity, where they have held various roles, including Data Analytics Engineer, Senior Data Analytics Engineer, and currently serves as the Analytics Team Lead.

Chris Scheele holds a Master's Degree in Cartography and GIS (2015-2017) and a Professional Capstone Certificate in GIS (2014-2015), both obtained from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (2010-2014) from the same university. Additionally, Chris has obtained certifications such as QPR Gatekeeper from the QPR Institute in September 2023 and Certified Practitioner of Human-Centered Design from the LUMA Institute in 2022.
