Roya Semaan

Roya Semaan is a seasoned professional in interior design with extensive experience across multiple companies. Currently serving as Director of Interior Design at Aritzia since March 2023, Roya previously held the role of Senior Design Manager, Interior Design at the same company. Prior to Aritzia, Roya worked as an Interior Design Project Manager at Westbank Corp from 2020 to 2023 and as an Interior Designer at Leckie Studio Architecture + Design Inc. from 2018 to 2020. Roya's freelance experience from 2015 to 2018 involved contract work with various firms such as Federica Recaneschi Interiors and Selim V Koder Architects. Earlier career roles included Head of Design & Communication at Edco Industries and Interior Architect positions at Matta Architecture & Design, Ateliers Jean Nouvel, Studio Urquiola, Diego Grandi Office, and an internship at SVKArchitects. Roya holds a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design from SPD Scuola Politecnica di Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture from Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts. Additionally, Roya pursued studies in Business Administration at the American University of Beirut.
