Nick Leach

Nick Leach is a senior full stack engineer at Arize AI. Nick has also worked as a lead software engineer at Import.io, a software developer/consultant at MATRIX Resources, and a front end engineer at The Iron Yard.

Nick has experience with several development teams, both domestic and international. Nick's expertise includes front end applications built with React, Vue, and Electron; back end APIs, workers, and batch processes built with Node, Typescript, and NestJS; applications deployed using CloudFront, ECS, and CloudFormation; Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, migrations managed through Sqitch; data lakes with Amazon S3, Glue, and Redshift Spectrum; batch processing with AWS Batch; producer/consumer architecture, queues managed with Redis/Elasticache using BullJS; custom monitoring and dashboards on Cloudwatch using AWS CDK; and CLI Application developed with OClif Framework.

At Import.io, Nick was responsible for reviewing code and technical designs, hiring and mentoring of engineering team, leading Agile SDLC and facilitating SCRUM rituals (planning, estimating, retrospectives, demos), and responsible for quarterly planning and team OKRs.

Nick Leach has a background in front-end engineering and computer software applications from The Iron Yard, as well as business and economics from Georgia State University. Nick also has a high school diploma from Dunwoody High School.
