Boaz Adelekan

Boaz Adelekan is a Mathematics Teacher at Ark Academy (Wembley Park) since August 2023, previously serving in the same role at Teach First from September 2021 to August 2023, where 90% of students achieved or exceeded their GCSE targets. Boaz founded Project Filodoxia to enhance student ambition through storytelling. Alongside teaching, Boaz has experience as a Spoken Word Artist, contributing to Coventry's First Poetry Festival and creating a short film for Sky Arts. As a guest lecturer at the University of Warwick, Boaz emphasized understanding personal motivations for effecting change. Formerly, Boaz held roles with the Brent 2020 London Borough of Culture, Powerlist Magazine, and Warwick Inspire, where significant contributions to youth engagement and leadership development were made. Boaz earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Warwick.
