Riwal Lefort is a data scientist and project manager with extensive experience in research engineering across various institutions. Since July 2017, Riwal has worked at Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, applying expertise in data science. Previously, Riwal served as a research engineer at ENSTA Bretagne, focusing on source localization from underwater sensors, and at GREYC, University of Caen, participating in a European project with Thales that involved image processing, computer vision, and big data. Earlier experience includes research engineering at Idiap Research Institute in Switzerland, where Riwal studied the statistical analysis of biological cells in large video databases, and at Telecom Bretagne, where Riwal conducted a PhD project on automatic object classification and database analysis from acoustic submarine images in collaboration with IFREMER.
