Alan Koo

Alan Koo serves as the President of Acrylic Monomers for the Asia Pacific region at Arkema since December 2007, overseeing business unit management and manufacturing assets. Prior roles at Arkema include General Manager for Asia Pacific outside China and for the South Asia Pacific region, where responsibilities encompassed corporate purchasing, sales, and marketing management. Alan has extensive experience in the chemicals industry, having previously held positions at Afton Chemical as Area Manager and at Orica Group as Regional Account Manager, along with a foundational role as Regional Sales Executive at Atofina. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA (Distinction) from the University at Buffalo School of Management and an Executive Program from INSEAD, complemented by a degree in Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
