Drew Polli is currently the Global R&D Director for Thiochemicals at Arkema, where they oversee innovation management, new product development, and project assessment. They hold a Ph.D. in Materials from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a BS in Ceramic Engineering from Rutgers University. Drew’s previous roles include Global R&D Director at Solvay, where they led a team of over 75 scientists, and Director of Development at Aspen Aerogels, where they managed the transition of new insulation products from development to commercialization. They also served as a Max-Planck-Gesellschaft Fellow, studying thin metal layer growth at the Max-Planck-Institut für Metallforschung.
