Jacques Barbier is an accomplished Manufacturing Director with extensive experience in the chemical industry. From 2018 to 2023, Jacques served as Project Director at Arkema, leading the design, construction, and start-up of a new integrated plant for bio-sourced high-performance polymers in Singapore. Prior to that, Jacques held the position of Global Manufacturing Director, overseeing multiple plants across Texas, France, and China, and was responsible for significant decarbonization projects. Jacques earned a Master's degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from IFP School and a degree in Astronomie et astrophysique from Observatoire de Paris | PSL.
