Jon Scholte serves as the R&D Manager for Foam Blowing Agents and Thermal Management at Arkema since February 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Synthesis Team Lead/Research Scientist and Scientist at Sartomer from January 2017 to February 2024, and Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Iowa from August 2011 to December 2016, where Jon developed synthetic procedures for novel photopolymerizable systems, characterized oligomers, and investigated polymerization kinetics. Additionally, Jon worked as a Consultant at OPI Inc from April 2013 to February 2014, leading graduate students and postdocs in project management and conducting syntheses of functionalized clay nanoparticles. Scholte obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Iowa and a BS in Psychology and Chemistry from Weber State University.
