Luis Amor is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and business development across various industries including chemicals, automotive, and electronics. Currently serving as a Senior Sales and Marketing Manager at Arkema since January 2014, Luis oversees the Heavy Mercaptan portfolio and is focused on expanding its applications in North America. Prior roles include Business Development Manager at Nypro, where Luis targeted opportunities in Solid State Lighting and Consumer Electronics, and Sales Manager for Mexico at AkzoNobel, where significant sales successes were achieved in the automotive sector. With a strong foundation in technical and commercial operations, stemming from previous positions at BASF and ContiTech, Luis holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and a Master's in International Trade from Universidad La Salle.
