Michael Abrams is a Senior Principal Scientist at Arkema, with over two decades of extensive experience in high-performance polymers R&D and fluoropolymer synthesis. Abrams has managed crosslinking groups and provided R&D and technical support for organic peroxide product portfolios used in polymer initiation and crosslinking. Previous roles include Principal Scientist, where Abrams developed proprietary technologies for oxidation with hydrogen peroxide and led multi-disciplinary teams in international joint development programs. Prior to Arkema, Abrams worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory, focusing on cationic phosphorus-based ligands and environmentally friendly reaction media.
