Michael Thai

Michael Thai is an experienced information systems leader currently serving as the Head of Information Systems for Arkema in the Asia Pacific region outside China since April 2005. With a strong background in SAP implementation and business solution integration, Michael has successfully managed various projects that enhance operational efficiency across multiple modules, including SD, LE, MM, PP, QM, PM, FICO, and PS. Notable achievements include building a team of SAP experts in Malaysia, delivering end-to-end BI solutions that support strategic decision-making, and rolling out SAP Supply Chain solutions to multiple entities across APAC. Prior to Arkema, Michael worked at BNP Paribas as a Corporate Communications Project Manager assistant, enhancing brand consistency globally. Michael holds an education from Télécom SudParis and participated in preparatory classes at Lycée Henri IV for French “Grandes Ecoles” national exams.
