Stephen Dewitt

Stephen DeWitt is a Research Scientist at Arkema since January 2023, specializing in advanced manufacturing and materials development for complex chemical separations. Previously, Stephen served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from December 2020 to December 2022, contributing to the design and scale-up of hollow fiber membranes and novel polymer materials. Stephen obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where significant work included developing sorbent-polymer composite fibers for CO2 capture and collaborating on adsorptive CO2 capture techniques. Prior research experiences include internships at the Idaho National Laboratory and an undergraduate assistantship at Vanderbilt University. Currently enrolled in an MBA program at Boston University's Questrom School of Business, Stephen aims to integrate business acumen with engineering expertise.
