Wei Wang is a Principal Scientist at Arkema, specializing in High Performance Polymers since June 2021. Previously, Wei Wang held various positions at PPG Industries from February 2010 to June 2021, including Research Associate I and II, as well as Research Chemist and Senior Research Chemist. Significant contributions include the development of low-temperature cure chemistries and antifouling coatings, culminating in the receipt of the 2020 Gordon Moore Medal Award and being a finalist for the 2018 R&D 100 Award. Wei Wang has notable achievements in the commercialization of innovative basecoats at SGM Wuling, including both white and grey nanogel options. Wei Wang earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Zhejiang University.
