Théo Ryffel

Théo Ryffel has had a diverse range of work experiences. Théo is a CPO & Co-founder at Arkhn, starting from September 2018. Théo also worked at Inria as a PhD candidate in privacy-preserving AI from February 2019 to June 2022. Théo Ryffel was the Cryptography Team Lead at OpenMined from August 2019 to October 2021, and also served as the Lead Developer in Privacy Preserving Machine Learning from April 2018 to August 2019. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Polyconseil from March 2017 to August 2017, and as a Software Engineer at the Ministère de la Défense from December 2014 to April 2015.

Théo Ryffel's education history begins in 2012 when they attended Lycée Saint Louis. During this time, they studied subjects such as Algebra, Maths Analysis, and Theoretical Physics.

In 2014, Théo went on to École Polytechnique, where they pursued a degree in Ingénieur Polytechnicien. Théo studied Applied Maths, Machine Learning, NLP, and Deep Learning during their time at this institution, which lasted until 2018.

During their studies at École Polytechnique, Théo also had the opportunity to broaden their knowledge by attending Imperial College London in 2017 and 2018. Here, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Advanced Computing, focusing on Machine Learning and Quantum computing.

After completing their studies at École Polytechnique, Théo pursued further academic achievements by joining École normale supérieure in 2019. Here, they enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program, specializing in Machine Learning and Cryptography. Théo's time at École normale supérieure extended until 2022.
