Stephen (Steve) Bar-Ner Wulkan is an experienced professional with a diverse background in aviation, emergency medical services, and business operations. Currently serving as the Quality Assurance (Compliance) & Safety Management System (SMS) Manager at Arkia Israeli Airlines since November 2021, Wulkan manages all aspects of the SMS system. Previous roles include Ground Operations & Ramp Manager at Aerohandling LTD, where responsibilities encompassed safety training and compliance, as well as hands-on supervision of aircraft logistics at Ben Gurion Airport. Wulkan has also contributed to emergency medical efforts as an EMT during Israel's national COVID-19 vaccination project and operated a micro bakery specializing in artisan products. Additionally, extensive experience in public relations and management was gained through various leadership positions in emergency services and diving schools. Wulkan’s education includes training in Ground Operations Management, Emergency Medical Technology, and Underwater Engineering.
