Laura Beck

Laura Beck has extensive work experience in the field of data privacy and legal compliance. Their most recent role was as the Head of Data Privacy at Arla Foods, starting in October 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Specialist Data Privacy at Vestas from October 2022 to October 2023. Laura also served as a Data Privacy Manager at Ramboll Management Consulting from March 2022 to September 2022. Laura has a background in law, having worked as a Staff Lawyer and Project Manager GDPR at Danish Crown from August 2019 to March 2022. Laura also worked as a Legal Counsel and Project Manager at Aarhus Universitet from August 2016 to July 2019. Before entering the data privacy field, Laura worked as a Legal Consultant at BUPL from 2009 to 2015. Laura also gained experience as a Deputy Judge at Danmarks Domstole from 2006 to 2009, and completed a student internship at the Ministry of Justice in 2001.

Laura Beck completed their Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree at Aarhus University from 1998 to 2005. In 2001, they participated in an exchange program at South Texas College of Law Houston. In 2014, they obtained a certification in Systemisk coaching, EMCC Senior practitioner level from Ramboll Management Consulting.
