Most educator training focuses on what you deliver. At Arlena Collective, we have developed The CARE Method, a professional development program that starts with who you are in the room.
The CARE Method trains educators to use their own regulated nervous system as a tool for teaching. When a teacher can recognize and manage their own stress responses, the classroom becomes a safer, more predictable environment for students to learn in. The program is structured around four pillars: Co-regulation, Awareness, Regulation, and Environment, grounded in current research in educational neuroscience.
It is designed for whole-school implementation, with practical tools that teachers apply within the conditions of an ordinary school day.
