Marvin Sutton

Marvin Sutton serves as the President and a Board Member at Symphony Arlington, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching community life through high-quality music concerts since August 2021. In addition, Sutton is a candidate for Arlington City Council and a former Councilman for District 3, focusing on youth support, technology integration, economic investment, neighborhood development, and regional mobility. With experience as a Political Campaign Consultant and involvement with the Tarrant County Democratic Party, Sutton has a rich background in political strategy and community engagement. Previous roles include Air Traffic Controller at the FAA, Treasurer for the NAACP Arlington Branch, and military service as an Air Traffic Controller in the United States Air Force. Sutton holds a BS in Accounting, graduating magna cum laude from The University of Texas at Arlington, and an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Tarrant County College.
