James Cao

James Cao has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the field of product development and project management. James started their career at VTech in 1996 as a Baseband Development Engineer and later progressed to the roles of Baseband Development Manager and Sr. Baseband Development Manager. In 2009, they joined Sierra Wireless as a Project Manager and then moved to Seon Design as a Project Engineer. In 2013, they joined NETGEAR, where they served as a Project Manager until 2016 and then transitioned to the role of Director of Product Development until 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Product Development at Arlo Technologies, Inc. since 2019.

James Cao received their education from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. From 1992 to 1995, they pursued the Electronics Engineering Program with a Telecom Option. Later, in 1998, they enrolled in the Management & Leadership Program at the same institute.
