Ron Hokanson

Ron Hokanson is an experienced software and firmware engineer with a robust background in the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as Principal Engineer, Software at Arlo Technologies, Inc. since July 2018, Ron has previously held positions at NETGEAR as Senior Staff Software Engineer and as Staff Engineer in Firmware. Prior experience includes roles at Sierra Wireless, NextWave Wireless, and Denso International America, where expertise in developing software for wireless handsets and telematics products was established. Ron began the professional journey as ISDN Engineering Manager at Multi-Tech Systems after earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
