Director Of User Experience at Arlo

Tom Doerr has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Tom started their career as a Freelance Web Designer, building web identities and sites for small local businesses. Tom then worked as an Illustrator, completing artwork for children's readers. In 2007, they became a Web Designer at WebJuice, where they stayed until 2011. At VUDU, they served as a UX Designer, collaborating with various teams to design and execute new website features. Tom then joined TiVo as a Senior User Experience Designer, leading the creation of the mobile shop. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at PlayStation Network as a Senior Interaction Designer. In 2017, they joined NETGEAR as a User Experience Manager, and later transitioned to Arlo Technologies, Inc. where they currently hold the role of Director of User Experience.

Tom Doerr attended Foothill College from 1996 to 2000, where they earned an AA degree in Art. Tom then pursued further education at San Jose State University from 2001 to 2006, focusing on Animation/Illustration and Web Design, although the field of study for their degree is not specified.
