Andy Darlington

Andy Darlington is a Staff Design Engineer with a specialization in electronic engineering, particularly in digital design, FPGAs, and VHDL. They led a team at Renishaw, focusing on the development of FPGA firmware for next-generation optical encoders while also enhancing VHDL development practices. Andy's previous roles include Electronic Engineer positions at Sagentia and Ultra Electronics PALS, and they earned a Master’s Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of Bath. Currently, they are continuing their work as a Staff Design Engineer at Arm.
