Ben Ockmore

Ben Ockmore is an experienced Implementation Lead at Arm, with a career spanning from a graduate role to leadership in physical implementation for System Memory Management Unit (SMMU) IP. Since September 2016, Ockmore has guided teams in producing well-designed, tapeout-ready SMMUs, building on past successes with MMU-700 and MMU-600 products. Prior experience includes leading physical implementation for Cortex-A5 DesignStart and contributing to the Arm Morello Program. Ockmore began in the industry with an industrial placement on the Cortex A53 processor and has also served as a summer intern focusing on SystemVerilog test benches. Educationally, Ockmore holds a Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Surrey.
