Chris Brown

Chris Brown is a highly experienced engineering professional with extensive expertise in CPU design and verification. Serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Arm from July 2017 to October 2021, Chris managed the development and delivery of multiple generations of A-class CPU cores and previously held roles as Director of Engineering and Director of Verification within the company. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Verification Engineer at Broadcom, leading verification teams for complex System on Chip (SoC) projects, and holding various leadership roles at Texas Instruments, including SerDes Lab Characterisation Team Lead and Deployment Team Leader. Chris began an academic career as a Research Student at the University of Sheffield, focusing on VLSI architectures, and holds a BEng and a Ph.D. in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the same institution.
