David Maidment

David Maidment is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor and technology sectors, currently serving as the Director of Secure Devices Ecosystem at Arm since January 2012, where initiatives focus on securing the next trillion connected devices through innovative frameworks like the Platform Security Architecture. Formerly, David held positions such as Director of IoT Devices Strategy and Director of LPWA Strategy at Arm, emphasizing the integration of computational power into everyday objects, particularly in the Internet of Things landscape. Prior to Arm, David was V.P. of Product Management at picoChip, managing LTE and WiMAX programs, and has a history of roles at Philips Semiconductors and Hitachi Micro Systems. David holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Plymouth and is a certified Project Management Professional.
