Deepak Goel

Deepak Goel currently serves as the Sr. Director of SoC Architecture at Arm, beginning in November 2023. Previously, Goel held the position of Fabric Architect for Accelerated Computing at an early-stage startup from July 2021 to February 2024, and from January 2019 to July 2021, Goel worked as a Senior Technical Director at Microsoft, focusing on augmented reality silicon and AI supercomputing. Prior to Microsoft, Goel was the Chief Engineer at Fungible Inc. from December 2015 to December 2018, contributing to its acquisition by Microsoft. Goel's earlier career includes roles as a Staff Engineer at Google and both Distinguished and Staff Engineer at Juniper Networks, as well as a Hardware Engineer at Cisco Systems. Goel earned an M.Tech in VLSI Design Tools and Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, between 1998 and 1999.
