Eric van Hensbergen

Eric Van Hensbergen is a distinguished Fellow at Arm, where since August 2012, contributions have included advancements in the SMARTER Edge Framework, Veracruz Confidential Computing Framework, and the IceCap isolation operating system. Eric's previous role as a Distinguished Engineer involved managing software and large-scale systems research, with a focus on high-performance computing and next-generation operating systems, as well as serving as Principal Investigator for significant Department of Energy projects. Prior experience includes a research position at IBM, contributing to future systems innovations, and technical roles at Lucent Technologies, Northern Telecom, and Lockheed Martin, specializing in operating systems and systems software development. Eric holds a BS in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology and has participated in a Semester at Sea program.
