Global Director Of Sustainability & Social Impact

Fran B. serves as the Global Director of Sustainability & Social Impact at Arm, leading initiatives that align with the U.N. Global Goals, particularly in closing the digital divide and decarbonizing computing. With extensive experience in sustainability strategy and social impact, Fran has held various roles at Arm, including Global Social Impact & Innovation Lead and Global Sustainability Manager. Additionally, Fran is a Bye-Fellow at St Edmund's College, University of Cambridge, and engages in research on the impacts of AI through the AI, Ethics and Society MSt/MPhil program. Fran contributes as a Global Fellow at the League of Intrapreneurs and serves as an assessor for the Institute for Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge. Recognized as a SDG Pioneer by the UN Global Compact Network UK in 2020, Fran's background also includes roles focused on partnerships at The Centre for Global Equality and training at IPSEA. Fran holds a Master's degree in AI Ethics and Society and has a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature with History.
