Istvan Olah

Istvan Olah is a Principal Project Manager at Arm since May 2017, currently overseeing ASIC IP development projects in the Graphic Processor (GPU) department. Olah relocated to Budapest in May 2022 to manage multisite projects closer to family. Previously, Olah worked at Ericsson from August 2009 to December 2016, where responsibilities included managing development projects, overseeing Agile scrum teams, and collaborating with product management. Significant achievements at Ericsson included the RX9004 decoder product, the world’s first HEVC decoder on FPGA, and contributions to the UK's first 4K broadcasting system. Earlier experience includes project management at Scholefield and Partner and a role as an ASIC Design Engineer and Team Leader at Duolog Technologies. Istvan Olah holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, obtained in 2003.
